SUMMER BOOK DRIVE FOR WEST DALLAS KIDS

Help kids in West Dallas get books! Collect new or very gently used books for kids (preschool through elementary-age), OR raise money to purchase books as a family to donate! (Ideas include having your kids collect “pledges” toward the number of pages or books they read over the summer, hosting a garage sale, or using a lemonade stand or cookie stand.)

Instructions for drop-off: Bring books to Watermark Kids Live! on Friday, Sept. 11. Or you can drop off in the tower lobby at the Dallas Campus on Sunday, Sept. 13. Or if purchasing books, this Amazon wish list allows you to ship directly to Readers 2 Leaders: tinyurl.com/amazonR2L.

PACK MEALS FOR MISSION OF HOPE (F)(G)

Friday, Aug. 21, to Sunday, Aug. 23 · North Dallas

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian organization feeding hungry children around the world – and connecting them to education and other impact. FMSC has developed specially formulated meal packs that provide maximum nutrition in a small amount of space. They’re hoping to pack ONE MILLION meals in three days this August – all of which will go to our international partner, Mission of Hope Haiti!

For ages 5 and older; event will be held at Parish Episcopal School, 4101 Sigma Road, Dallas. Registration link will be available on July 10 – but if a group of 20 or more is ready to reserve a spot, please contact Betsy at nowlinfamily@me.com.
